## Overview

The Sun2Solar Solar Cover White Reel System is a durable, lightweight reel designed for above-ground pools up to 21 feet wide. It enables easy one-person operation with a steering wheel handle and includes all necessary hardware and telescopic poles for quick installation and effortless solar cover management.

## Description

Make sure your swimming pool stays warm and heated without having to do much work! Keep your pool covered and enjoy the ease of removing the cover when are you ready to dive in for a swim. This one-person reel features special bearing systems at both ends of the reel, providing smooth, effortless removal of your solar blanket. With our reel you will use your solar blanket more often, saving money on gas while you swim in a warmer pool. The reel is anchored by rugged mounting brackets that are permanently installed on your pool's top rail (rail must be at least 6"). These mounting brackets allow you to remove your reel in the fall and install your winter cover without obstruction. The hand crank and base are constructed of durable non-corroding polymer material that will last and last. Our reel will fit either oval or round pools and it comes complete with solar blanket attachment hardware and installation instructions. Some assembly required. 3 year limited Warranty. NOTE: Covers larger than 20' must be folded at the ends to fit. Solar cover reel is not designed to fit over the center of the pool. This reel is not recommended for 16mil solar covers.

Review: One person can totally use - We have a 15x30 oval pool, and decided to mount these to pressure treated 4x4 posts just above and just past one end to get it out of the way, and because we weren't keen on drilling through the pool edge. Works great so far. You can really be creative with the design since it can be mounted independent of the pool. The plastic pieces just aren't as thick and sturdy as I would like, and I plan to keep an eye on them for stress cracks. Worth the money so far for the super easy and quick on and off of the cover. Would buy again.
Review: Great Value for Price - I did a lot of research before purchasing a cover roller because there are quite a lot of options, they are all at least $200.00, and a lot of them have a frightening amount of negative reviews. I came across this cover roller and the reviews for my size pool were good, the only poor reviews I see are for pools 22-24' in diameter. Ours is a 15x30' oval and we didn't even use all of the pieces to extend the roller arms across the pool, 5 came in the box and only three were needed to span our pool, I like having the extra pieces should they be needed. No sag in the roller (yet) and the lift away design makes it perfect for one person to remove the cover. The only negative I have to say is the straps that come with it require you to puncture holes in the cover in order to attach, which I could see becoming a large rip down the line. I opted to purchase a set of heavy duty clams (last picture) to attach the straps to the cover, the hardware that came to attach the cover was still usable to secure the straps to the clamps. The reel system roll up function works well. I thought the assembly instructions were lacking. I will also need to make a couple of modifications, as pulling the solar cover off the reel and onto the pool when not in the water is difficult.
