Review: Outstanding!!! - This medicine cabinet is wonderful: looks nice, relatively easy to install, well constructed and very functional. My wife likes the look of the cabinet. She particularly likes the two-door design. With both doors open she is able see the back of her head while brushing and combing her hair. The side mirrors reflect the light from the light fixtures making the room brighter. I'm not sure if I like the mirror on the inside behind the shelves. But that doesn't really matter. I did a surface installation which was simple and straightforward. The instructions were easy to understand. Mounting the cabinet required only common hand tools: a level, pencil, measuring tape, drill, screwdriver and wall anchors (not provided). Some cautions: I did use a stud finder to be sure there were no pipes or wiring where I was drilling into the wall; and to locate the studs to mount the lower cabinet bracket. Be VERY careful when you place the side mirrors on the cabinet. I installed one of the side mirrors slightly out of alignment. I had not yet put any pressure on it to firmly attach it. But the glue was so strong I was unable to move it to get the precise alignment I wanted. Make sure the mirror is exactly where you want it to be before placing it on the glue pads. I also removed the doors to reduce the weight of the unit during installation. Reinstalling them was quick and easy. And the hinges are well designed for realigning the doors. The adjustable shelves allow the user to arrange the distances between each shelf to suit whatever needs to be stored in the cabinet. And as I mentioned above, the mirrors on the inside the doors allow you to view the back of your head for grooming. In short, we love this cabinet and consider it a great value. But I want to address some of the complaints other reviewers (not many) have left. Some mentioned damaged cabinets, broken mirrors and/or missing parts. I found the cabinet to be extremely well packaged and nothing was missing. A few reviewers cited the mirrors falling off the cabinet so I checked to see if they were securely attached. I didn't do chin-ups on the mirrors but they seemed very well secured. I cannot imagine the mirrors detaching from the cabinet. One person mentioned the shelf brackets were too small and would not allow the shelves to slide into place. Another wrote the predrilled holes for the shelf brackets were not correctly aligned. I found them spot on and the shelves slid into place with very slight pressure. Considering the small amount of one-star ratings when compared to the four and five-star ratings, I think anyone can be confident they are ordering a quality product with good value.
Review: Solid feel of quality - I don't know how people function without a medicine cabinet. This is a really nice one. Beveled mirror, plus mirror inside door and inside back provides ability to see side angles of your face. Nice polished aluminum body with adjustable door so it closes square and flat. Easy mount brackets and mirrored outer sides for surface mount made this a simple install for me. Adjustable shelves allowed me to put several different height objects inside.

**Q: Can this be installed on a wall and not in a wall?**
A: We installed ours on the wall instead of recessing it due to our wall situation in our circa 1960 house. We anchored some L-shaped, metal ledges (1.5") to the studs in the wall above and below the mirror units and then drilled holes (carefully) in the top and bottom (at the very back) and mounted the mirror units to the ledges. The ledges stick out a tiny bit to either side, but we painted over them when we painted the wall, and it's barely noticeable. Also, that means that there are two little screw heads at the back of the bottom shelf that could get in the way of you putting stuff there. That isn't a problem for us. We mounted two mirrors right next to each other this way. These mirror units are nice looking and quite sturdy. Just remember to leave the film on the glass until you are completely done installing. Good luck!

**Q: Is this a reversible hinge cabinet or are the hinges fused on one side? I need the cabinet to open on the left side, not the right.**
A: I guess the cabinet can be reversed but not the hinge. I advise you to think a bit further and prior to reverse check the preferable direction of door opening: from ''left to-right'' or ''right to left''

**Q: Hello,
Will this cabinet fit an inset of 14.5" by 19" by 4.5"?**
A: The minimum rough openings for length and width are 18" and 14" respectively.  As for depth, I'm not 100% positive, but 4.5" sounds deep enough to me.

**Q: Is the door easy to open? Want to install for a senior that has arthritis. Thx!**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A High-Quality, Edge-to-Edge Medicine Cabinet That Still Looks and Works Like New After Two Years

This is my long-term review of the Kohler medicine cabinet after using it for about two years. I purchased it in 2024 during my bathroom renovation, mainly because it matched the rest of my bathroom fixtures and complemented my existing design perfectly. The first thing that impressed me was the packaging. The cabinet arrived extremely well protected, which is important for a product that contains so much glass. Everything arrived in perfect condition without any damage. One of my favorite features is the edge-to-edge mirrored door. It gives the cabinet a clean, modern appearance and makes the bathroom feel more open compared to cabinets with thick surrounding frames. The cabinet itself is on the smaller side, but that is exactly what I expected based on the dimensions. It is designed to hold everyday essentials such as medications, toothbrushes, skincare products, and other daily necessities rather than serve as large storage. For that purpose, I think the size is ideal. The build quality has been outstanding. After nearly two years of regular use, the cabinet still feels solid, and the door opens and closes smoothly. The only minor issue I encountered was that one hinge screw loosened slightly over time. Tightening it with a screwdriver took less than a minute, and I haven't had any problems since.
