A: Yes, you can adjust to three different heights. I prefer the middle level. It clears my belt line and doesn't interfere with my kit when drawing. At the same time it stays high enough on my left and stays in place while running and/or moving. I've been very pleased with this rig.

A: Its a Paddle. The leg strap holds it firmly on the belt/waistband
