During the class, he purposely dropped the bike for a class demonstration. As the bike was tossed to the ground, I noticed that the instructor had these collars installed protecting the e saddle bag guards (I also ordered the 7/8" for the saddle bags guards). Since installed, I've had many bikers ask what are they, and what are they for? I give credit where credit is due, I refer them to ride like a pro Maryland Facebook page where you can hear it from a pro, too include pictures for proper install.
