Review: Great Retro Toy - I was misled by the picture that showed three of these, so I thought I was getting three. That was my fault. This is a great toy and something I loved as a kid. I do think it is more fun if you have two of these instead of just one. More kids can play or it just makes it more fun overall. These are well made just like the ones we played with when we were kids. I have a toy box for kids that come to visit and it is a perfect toy to entertain them, and many times the newer generation has never seen them or played with them before. It is fun to watch them with a new toy they have never seen. ## Features - ADAS - Made in USA or Imported - If you drop your monkeys, you lose your turn - Pick up each monkey with the last monkey's arm - Product color may vary between Elefun Blue, Hippo Orange, and Chasin` Cheeky Purple - Fun monkey game challenges you to pick up monkeys and build a parade to win - If you drop your monkeys you lose your turn - Have even more fun when you play with 2 or more Barrel of Monkeys games (other sets sold separately) - Includes 10 monkeys and instructions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00CXEXNC8 | | Age Range Description | 3+ Years | | Best Sellers Rank | #390,777 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #9,679 in Board Games (Toys & Games) | | Brand Name | Hasbro Gaming | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 6,369 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Develop and improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and planning and sequencing skills | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00630509297184, 00885757595753 | | Included Components | 10 monkeys and instructions. | | Item Dimensions | 2.99 x 2.99 x 4.76 inches | | Item Part Number | HSBA2042 | | Item Type Name | Game | | Item Weight | 8.53 g | | Manufacturer | Hasbro | | Manufacturer Part Number | A2042 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 3 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | A2042 | | Number of Players | 1+ | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Set Name | Elefun and Friends | | Size | Original version | | Sub Brand | Friends | | Subject Character | Monkey | | Supported Battery Types | No batteries required | | Theme | Game,Star | | UPC | 885757595753 885461621861 885286378926 885856414245 634782810061 885979843564 885395591223 653569817994 698887334969 630509297184 787793786075 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![Hasbro Gaming Elefun and Friends Barrel of Monkeys Game - Colors May Vary - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Dm4JivC2L.jpg) ![Hasbro Gaming Elefun and Friends Barrel of Monkeys Game - Colors May Vary - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51pK2S1Bk5L.jpg) ![Hasbro Gaming Elefun and Friends Barrel of Monkeys Game - Colors May Vary - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qE7xL1aUL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How big are these?** A: The Monkey's are approx / 2" - H x 1 3/4"- W. I did have the time to play with them and they were big enough for an adult as well as a 4 year old-BTW we played and played and laughed at each other as we played. FUN is the name of the game! **Q: How many monkeys?** A: Hi! Every barrel includes a 10 monkeys and instructions. Please let me know if you have any other questions. **Q: Does this come in bulk or just one barrel?** A: Just one barrel. **Q: Are all the monkeys one color or do they come with varied colors in the barrel?** A: One color..but would not recommend this game as it's not made well and monkeys are almost impossible to link. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Barrel of Monkeys is a great game. *by D***G on January 14, 2026* Barrel of Monkeys is great and easy first game. Quality and durable to last. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Retro Toy *by S***N on August 8, 2023* I was misled by the picture that showed three of these, so I thought I was getting three. That was my fault. This is a great toy and something I loved as a kid. I do think it is more fun if you have two of these instead of just one. More kids can play or it just makes it more fun overall. These are well made just like the ones we played with when we were kids. It is fun to watch them with a new toy they have never seen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect old-school game for kids *by P***C on September 29, 2020* This is at least a 50 year old game, but still fun for adults and kids. My grandkids love it and it's one of those that doesn't take up much space so that makes it great for travel on vacations when kids need something other than TV or video games in the hotel room. Even our 2 yr old loves it because he can always at least pick up one, and it's a great exercise in dexterity. My father who had dementia also loved it because it didn't take much processing and he could play with the great-grandkids. While he couldn't focus on any game that had rules, this was just about participation and laughs. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hasbro Gaming Elefun and Friends Barrel of Monkeys Game - Colors May Vary - The Original Slinky Walking Spring Toy, 2.75-inch Diameter Metal Slinky, Fidget Toys - Magnetic Personalities - Original Wooly Willy --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1271371-hasbro-gaming-elefun-and-friends-barrel-of-monkeys-game-colors](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1271371-hasbro-gaming-elefun-and-friends-barrel-of-monkeys-game-colors) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
