From the carbon fiber paddle which is so light that her arms don't tire out, to the thoughtful board dimensions which create stability but also ease of paddling for a little tyke, to the provided child's leash which we tie up to the mama board to keep her close and tow her when she gets tired, and the cross over tie-downs on the deck for water, a food bag and a pillow when she wants to lie down - it is a QUALITY and well-designed entire package. There's even a backpack to haul it in when traveling, and a hand pump that works so well I see no need to buy a power-operated pump. It really provides everything but the life vest (and I highly recommend the Mustang Survival Vest!). I started out seeking to buy simply a child-size carbon fiber paddle but could not find one without also buying the SUP - and guess what? Thurso-Surf is the only company that sells an adjustable child-sized carbon fiber paddle. This is critical to enable little arms to paddle without the fatigue that results from swinging a heavier or unbalanced paddle made of aluminum or even fiberglass. It also means that all my grandkids can use the paddle by simply adjusting it's length as they grow. I’m within the height/weight parameters, but I’ve only been able to use it while sitting (like a kayak).
