The capacity of 4000 mAr is also falsely claimed. The other battery was able to accept a full charge. However, the life of the fully charged battery was equivalent to the original Ryobi battery I was replacing which is less than half of the advertised 4000 mAh capacity. The performance leads me to believe the cells used in these battery packs are 2000 mAh.Bottom line, if you want to purchase two batteries that each have approximately 2000 mHr capacity and if you are lucky enough to get two that work, then go ahead and purchase these units.
