A: Yup! That’s what I did! I did one on each side, it was beautiful to open up.

**Q: Will it fit a 48 1/4 x 13 1/4?**
A: Yes

**Q: Will it fit on a 75gal tank ?**
A: Only designed for a 55 gallon tank.

**Q: Will this work with a canister filter with the hoses being on the back of the tank?**
A: I have three aquaclear hob filters.  I'm 100% sure there is enough clearance for the hoses on the back.
