These are cleaned, and cooked well, not overly cooked to the point of being rubber bands. They're good plane on toast or over past or sprinkled with a little olive oil and viengar. Review: not an expert - But these are pretty good! I'm a fan of canned fish/muscles and these have a pretty intense sea flavor. I ended up hitting the 2nd half of the clams with some malt vinegar, and did not regret it - it kinda smoothed out the intense flavor, and really just made the clams delicious. Buy again?
