The second was defective on arrival and didn’t even turn on. This one works straight out the box, it it smaller then the other two and appears to be built more robust and what you would expect for an EC or Uk complaint electrical component. The other two were a bit more cheaply produced and dubious. Time will tell off it stands up to use, my old one of a different manufacturer was over 20 years old before it failed, hopefully this one will last a good amount of time also. Time will tell. Third time lucky, i have tried 2 other brands which were rated sufficient to run a 12v 10 amp pump for an SUP, I fortunately the first wasn’t sufficient to power the pump. The second was defective on arrival and didn’t even turn on. This one works straight out the box, it it smaller then the other two and appears to be built more robust and what you would expect for an EC or Uk complaint electrical component. The other two were a bit more cheaply produced and dubious. Time will tell off it stands up to use, my old one of a different manufacturer was over 20 years old before it failed, hopefully this one will last a good amount of time also. Time will tell. For now, it’s working which is better than the other ones I found on Amazon.
