Wanted a light for our back yard, in town, patio. Really like the Edison look of these. When they are on you wouldn’t know they are LED. It’s obvious when they aren’t lit.Hooked them up to a dimmer that I bought for something else, and contrary to the sellers response to a question posted if they were dimmable, they dimmed just fine. But we don’t use these with a dimmer. They aren’t super bright and I think the standard level is perfect. Dimmer was a “Lutron Credenza C.L Plug-In Lamp Dimmer for dimmable LED, Halogen and Incandescent Bulbs, TTCL-100H-WH, White” from Amazon. I imagine most dimmers meant for LED lights would work.Ended up hard wiring these to power and hanging them from a guide wire that takes the load.Very happy with these and they really help to make our patio very enjoyable in the evening.

Great product and the company is very responsive. these lights are very good and can withstand Japan typhoon winds and rain. Extremely happy with the purchase. Also the company was very responsive when I had an issue with a prematurely burnt out bulb. I highly recommend.

There are so many of these bulbs on the market. While many reviews seem to suggest these are all the same with different branding, it’s not the case.Bulb: This variety has plastic bulbs, while I see the benefit in outdoor durability something about thin plastic seems cheap to me, you can press the plastic in with your thumb.Light: The plastic is yellow so the look is very unique without power. When powered on these are definitely “warmer”.Wire. The gauge is similar to another model however the plugs are the least waterproof from other models. Basic plugs on each end.Pictures compare two other varieties.Overall I’d say these are best if they’re going to be used in a smaller space and if you want a really warm yellowish light.
