When you apply it smooths into skin very much like sun tan lotion. Almost with a white residue, but it absorbs completely. It leaves a slightly greasy feeling for about an hour then resolves when left on. Yes it is heavy use less and oily but will not clog your pores like some other creams do. This will be absorbed in one hour. **Q: Does this have actual hyaluronic acid or the hyaluronic salt?** A: The ingredients show it has sodium hyaluronate. According to Healthline, this ingredient is a form of hyaluronic acid that can enter the deep layers of your skin. Here, it attracts moisture and reduces inflammation. When applied topically, sodium hyaluronate is excellent for reducing dryness and wrinkles. Most of the other night time moisturizers I've tried haven't worked as well. It's a little too heavy for day time use, but I just use my Neutrogena for day time. I'd like it a little better if it had a fresher scent - it smells pretty much like buttered popcorn - not really the scent I'm looking for to retire for the evening, but the scent subsides pretty quickly so it's not a deal breaker for me.
