Appearance is awesome for my 10-12 yo boys. It is difficult to see the time in the daylight without the light but the light is so cool you want to press it over and over again (changes colors if you hold it down for a second or two. The major flaw for my family is that the face is completely class and you have to be as careful with it as you would your smart phone. One Drop on the ground was all it took (son was adjusting his band, lost his grip and let if fall to the terrazzo (about a three foot drop) and now he has a crack in the glass. Unfortunately they do not make an otterbox for this watch. The watch is currently so inexpensive though that I bought two more just in case he dropped the second one. However, it was sold as a kids watch but the band is large and it is so heavy that it keeps spinning on his wrist. There were no instructions of any kind so I have no idea if it performs as intended.
