I had never done this before. I purchased the wireless mic and found a separate adaptor that connects the receiver to my cell phone. The sound is great, clear and even strong enough to pic up the sound of music coming through nearby speakers, which was helpful. Great value for the money. My one let down is that I wish the batteries lasted longer.
