We were pushing a 10 foot inflatable boat ... *by A***R on October 16, 2017* Purchased this motor in July and finally got it on the water in October. Oil fill was a problem as the instructions are not clear and the images show two different conditions. I over-filled on first run and we made a plume of smoke that was very embarrassing! After the oil burnt off, the motor ran just fine! We were pushing a 10 foot inflatable boat with three adults and fishing gear against 1+ foot waves on a gusty windy day. Motor took us along at a slow yet steady pace. My grandson caught four large pike while we were . Perfect outing for the first use of motor...except for the oil issues. ### ⭐ It’s JUNK *by J***N on August 14, 2018* Do NOT purchase this outboard motor.I purchased it last August and I put it on my 8’ inflatable dinghy. I have run Only five times.It now not longer will crank. I sent it to a small motor repair shop. They cleaned the carburetor and got it running.I got it home yesterday and now the twist throttle on the arm is broken and the motor won’t crank.Don’t waste your money on this thing - it’s JUNK. ### ⭐ Would not buy or recommend for any size boat *by J***. on March 14, 2019* Honestly I was really excited about getting this but since day one I’ve been very disappointed and here’s why. The first thing you will notice is the horrible instructions that are so illegible it’s hard to believe they are written in English and any picture that’s included is so fuzzy you can’t distinguish the parts you need to, secondly it is much slower than what their add says, and on top of being really loud it randomly shuts off all the time. I got this motor to power an 11 foot catamaran style inflatable which my 55lbl trolling motor moves along perfect, with the leadallway it goes a little faster but if I run it more than 200-300 yards the motor starts sputtering and eventually shuts off. I’ve checked the oil and I only use premium non ethanol gas and I’ve been very cautious of the break in period but at this point I’m just gonna consider it a waste of money the only good things about it are that it’s extremely light weight and it starts on the first pull everytimeUpdate 4/11/2019Not even a full month later and I absolutely hate this motor it’s progressed from 2-300 yards to about half a mile and then it’s a gamble maybe you’ll make it back maybe you won’t maybe you’ll spend an hour cranking it only for it to start running for just a second then shut off or when it is running and you start to slow down you never know if it’s gonna keep running or just shut off.
