Review: Needs ro be numbered - Easy to install, however, the pieces are not numbered so it took a few minutes to figure that part out. Once I did, it took about 5 minutes to install. Seems sturdy, but I am worried the mesh will not retract well long term, but we will see. I am using it for a gate fit the front porch to keep the dogs in. it's a cheaper alternative to building a gate, or buying an expensive metal one
Review: The slack won’t tighten after 3 months - It’s an ok gate and worked ok for the first couple months but now the gate slack won’t tighten on its own and barely works as a barrier. I’ll be pretty disappointed if I can’t exchange it to try a new one since it pretty much doesn’t work after 3 months of use and I have the drill holes for it in my stair banisters...i would not recommend this product since it didn’t last for me.

It’s an ok gate and worked ok for the first couple months but now the gate slack won’t tighten on its own and barely works as a barrier. I’ll be pretty disappointed if I can’t exchange it to try a new one since it pretty much doesn’t work after 3 months of use and I have the drill holes for it in my stair banisters...i would not recommend this product since it didn’t last for me.

I needed a baby gate from my home to my garage cause the little ones always try to follow us out the house and get into things or run around, we don’t have a screen door to prevent them and they climb over wooden baby gates so this was the best fit. I didn’t want a metal baby gate that would be in the way 24/7 so this retractable one was the better of all options!! Installation was not hard just had to line it up drill a few holes and done. It reacts easily and effortlessly without problems. We can open or close when needed. No metal gate to continuously open. The quality is a nice strong durable mesh screen that they cannot climb cause there is nothing to help them over, they also cannot go under it, the mesh is strong, even when they stand there and push on it, it won’t fall. The height is a good height it stops my 3 year old grandson down to the infants! This has been a safety thing we’ve needed for awhile and glad we made the choice to finally get it... no more escaping babies to chase or watch for when we are reversing cars!! This takes up little to no space at all when it’s retracted in or rolled up. We have it mounted on the outer side of the door frame and it’s very well in there. If you have little ones and don’t want a bulky metal gate or a cheap wooden one try this one, it’s been the better of baby gates I’ve owned.
