Up until I received it I was actually trying to whisk my green tea in hot water using a fork. Naturally I had lumpy tea that wasn't too appetizing. What a difference this makes! A little bit of Do Matcha in a bowl using the included spoon, with a little hot water, and voila, perfect tea every time. I'm glad I opted for the set with the spoon because I was using a teaspoon before. Using the spoon kind of makes the experience complete. I'm not sure what people are saying in some reviews, talking about the whisk will no longer fit in the container? It's flexible bamboo. I rinse it off after use, allow it to dry completely, and it fits perfectly back in the container. I don't use the cover because I'm worried that bacteria might form (maybe?) but it fits back on the container perfectly if I did want to use it. I use this bamboo whisk and spoon every day and it's just great.
