I am disappointed that no where on the packaging does it describe the sizing. Hope this helps. **Q: Are these difficult to insert.** A: They not suppose to be difficult to insert. If they are you may need to size down. I use the Size 3 with just a bit of KY on the tip. **Q: would just a tampon do the same thing?** A: No. Your urethra where you pee out of is not in your vagina. It is above the vaginal opening. A tampon stops blood but not pee. This is why you don't need to take out your tampon to pee. This product will most likely not stop blood because it is too thin, not thick cotton. This product unfolds and has some sort of stiff plastic or wire of some sort that forms a large box shape. When you choose the right size, the stiff plastic presses against your urethra from the inside of your body. It simulates your pelvic muscles that normally use pressure to close your urethra. So, your urethra is closed with pressure from the inside and you don't leak. It doesn't have enough pressure to stop you from completely emptying your bladder. It only stops leaks. **Q: Why have these been recalled?** A: The recall was in 2017. Read that the plastic can crack before 31 days is up (maybe they guarantee them for 31 days?) I’ve not used them yet, so not sure how many days they’re supposed to last anyway. don’t you change them daily like a tampon? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for annoying prolapse *by C*** on June 19, 2025* I actually bought these to use as a pessary device when my prolapse suddenly worsened until I can find a new GYN and discuss more permanent options. It was just so distended that I was aware of it all day and made me very uncomfortable. After a couple of weeks of almost daily use, it seems to be less pronounced when I’m not using it.As an added bonus - I had no idea something like this even existed for bladder leaks. I have stress incontinence that is only problematic when jumping, usually only when 2 feet hit the ground at once but sometimes when running too. I usually just wear a liner when I think I might have an issue. After testing it at home for this purpose it seems to work very well! No more pee pads for me!!You insert it just like a tampon. It has more of a formed shape and feel than a tampon does. Once inserted I don’t feel it at all and only remember it’s even there because of the string hanging down. Unlike a tampon it’s also non absorbent. I googled just using a tampon to help with my issue but that is to be avoided if not needed for a menstrual cycle. A tampon’s absorbency when not needed can lead to TSS.My only complaint is that the sizing kit is not quickly available. I think I saw one but wanted to start using the product immediately. Of course size 3 works best for me and that’s the size I bought last after buying the other 2. As they aren’t cheap, I’m just trying to use those up on days that I am not as active.I also wish these were available in stores. I don’t mind buying them in Amazon, but I had no idea they even existed until googling my issue in a panic one weekend. I’m certain there are tons of women that could use these for one purpose or another. I'm not going to the bathroom excessively ALL DAY or having accidents or near misses.. I just feel more confident.Start with the starter kit to determine your correct size. In the beginning I had difficulty inserting it into my vagina. I wasn't able to press the "tampon" out of the tubing. I had success by removing the tampon from the tubing and applying a dab of water-based lube to the head of it. I was them able to use my hand to slide it into place.DRAWBACK: The price. I find it expensive, approximately $32-$35 per order. You only get 21 pieces instead of 30 which I would consider a month's supply.
