Initial impression was that spool was very neatly wound and upon opening, filament didn't spring out like PETG typically does. Hopefully, that should lead to less issues getting spool tangled if like me, you routinely swap out filaments depending on the project rather than completing using a spool before replacing. I first printed a single wall temperature calibration cube using temps from 250 down to 223. Every temp printed fine but I decided to stick with my standard 230 for PETG. I printed the Benchy on a modified Da Vinci 1.0 on a 80 degree glass bed with hairspray. Adhesion was great and part came off fairly easily once temp cooled to around 35. The print came out with nice details, excellent layer adhesion on only very light stringing. Hopefully you can tell from the photos. Overall, this is some of the best PETG filament I've used. It is a fairly glossy black, similar to ABS that is acetone vapor treated. Nice not having to worry about warping and shrinkage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Prints great at lower temps than usual for PETG, and the glow looks great! *by B***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2023* My typical PETG translucent filament from Polymaker is great, and it requires me to bump the hot end temperature up to 245C with a 0.8 mm nozzle. Totally expected, about 10-15 C above the temps for a 0.4 mm nozzle. I went to try printing this filament at the same temp and it began bubbling like crazy on the bed! First thought is always moisture with PETG, thinking that it shipped wet for some reason, which happens. Drying didn't fix the problem, still printed like foam.What it ended up being was that this filament from SainSmart prints at a way lower temperature than I'm used to, all the way down to 225C. And it prints flawlessly with a 0.8 mm nozzle at this temp! 220C was a little too cold, the filament started squeaking. 225C was just right. I will be trying out the non-glow version of this filament in the future for sure.Oh yeah, and the glow for the glow in the dark looks awesome! It gets really bright under sunlight or with a UV light, should work great for my product.Hope this helps. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars One of the few Brown color PETG filaments *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2023* I settled on SainSmart Pro-3 PETG because I needed PETG in brown. and PETG for props that are durable, watertight, and can take a beating. And Brown as the base color was a requirement. ( It's more difficult to find earthy colors in PETG)Printing SainSmart Pro-3 PETG on the Ender 3Pro is easy but slow. With the Creality K1Max - after updating the K1 to the latest updated extruder, hot end, dialing in the filament settings using Ocraslicer tests, and using a gluestick on the stock smooth metal plate for better adhesion. I could print twice as fast and with better quality than on the Ender 3 Pro. This PETG filament is smooth printing and less trouble than many of the cheap brands out there. Again for you beginners, if you didn't catch that, it's important to dial in each brand of PETG filament to keep stringing and other artifact extrusion issues at bay. PETG can be tricky on adhesion, on a textured PEI steel plate I usually settle on 60C and it goes well but on a smooth plate it can still slip off so I use Gluesticks and that works well.
