Unfortunately, that was not the case, though they seem to be interchangeable. My real issue is that 1 of the 3 phones ordered is missing the switch at the bottom, and the receiver is stuck down, so either the spring is broken on the inside, or it is broken altogether. That same phone had an incorrect phone receiver on it. Also, I didn't receive a label for the buttons, along with the plastic protector. The phone quality is mediocre for a refurbished phone.
