We use them for the ice maker and our Burkey Water Filter. Both items when filled are hard to move around especially the Burkey. The Burkey slides right next to the sink so forward I can either fill it or use it. It has freed up the counter space for regular use like washing dishes and preparing food. On how they actually function there are a few things I found. Once you place the slide with the appliances on them you might have to reposition them. Do this while in the retracted position, any side to side movement while extended it may come off it's track. If you pull it too far forward the back section of the slide will tilt forward allowing something like the ice maker power cord to go under causing to misalign when pushing it back.
