Easy to take down when it's not too windy. Folding it small enough to get back in the bag is a challenge, but achievable. It was windy last time we took it down so we rolled it up and put it in the back of the car until it was less windy and then folded it properly. It offers great protection. It is easily weighed down either by putting things in it or weighting the outer bags (we use stones if we can). We haven't had to use the guy ropes yet. It's a fight to get the final pole inserted and takes some brute force, which is a bit disconcerting as you feel the fabric might split, but so far, so good. It's guaranteed for 2 years, so that and our experience so far means we feel confident it is going to last even with the force needed to get the poles in place. It easily protects two of us in chairs on the 'doorstep' and there is plenty of room to keep all your 'stuff' out of the sun and therefore a bit cooler than if outside. It is perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. It is easy to assemble, but the instructions are poor. However, since there are just 3 foldable poles, 2 of which the same size and one longer, it was relatively easy to work out by ourselves how to put up the tent. The design of the tent is great. There are 3 mesh windows you can keep open or closed, 2 hooks on the ceiling which we used to hang our water bottles from, the sand bags really keep the tent in place in stronger winds and the colours are very nice. One disappointment was that the stitching on the carrier bag started unravelling on day 1 (hence 1 star taken off). The stitching on the tent, however, is solid and well executed.
