There are three separate parts for the Docking Station: an AC cable to plug into 120 V wall power, a small transformer box with cable to plug into the AC cable and the Docking Station, and the Docking Station itself. This was designed for the previous Dell Latitude 10 (horrible) tablet, but works for the Venue 11 Pro. It is not a perfect fit, and sometimes the dock connection does not make good contact, so wiggle it and your docked. I'm not going to knock it for this minor design flaw, as it was clearly not designed for the Venue. Where it does shine is for all of the connectivity. With the Venue 11 and virtualization, this combination is a perfect desktop replacement.
