While this book does outline some natural and herbal treatments that can help with thyroid problems, the information is dangerously incomplete. Some recommended herbs are low-dose botanicals, meaning they can have dangerous effects and you can easily poison yourself by taking too much. There are no warnings about those anywhere in the book, nor are there cautions for pregnant women or other contraindications that any trustworthy book would note. They do refer you to a page that possibly would have said something about it, but the page doesn't actually exist in the book. It's a very short book, and conditions boldly listed on the front may have no more than a paragraph of information inside. There is simply not enough information in this book- on remedies or specific conditions-to make it useful.
