It stings but it really does work. You definately need a calming cream as your face gets super red but after a bit it goes away. I have been using PSC glycolic peels for years, and they are wonderful. I feel like some of the other peels PSC offers might have worked better for her, but I chose this one because if you follow the instructions and go slowly to let your skin become used to the acid it does not produce the dramatic flaking and redness that other peels can cause (not a bad thing, it's what happens when you want a deep peel). But she didn't want to go to work with flaky, red skin.For me, personally, the glycolic peels are a must for me to stay on top of my overly dry skin.
