Review: Works for S130-A - This motor turned out to be a suitable replacement for the motor in my old Broan S130-A bathroom fan. We bought the old one about 14 years ago and it recently stopped working. We couldn't find any replacement fans with similar dimensions and power (130 CFM) and since the bathroom is fairly large we really needed the high CFM and didn't want to cut a larger opening in the ceiling. I recommend you also buy the rubbery mounting vibration insulators that go between the motor and housing, although I used the old ones and they worked ok. You do have to be careful with the way you put those on because you have to line up with indentions in the housing and they have to go on a certain way -- look for little semicircular indentions on both the housing and the rubber things and line those up. Also, it is difficult to get the metal compression band back on the plastic fan after it goes back on the motor spindle. I used needle nose pliers "backwards" to spread the band open and my wife helped by pushing it down with a flat blade screwdriver onto the plastic fan. Although I used the old one, it wouldn't hurt a bit to buy one of those bands too -- I doubt they cost a lot and I could imagine one getting spread out too wide to do its job when putting it back on. Sorry, none of this is very easy to explain, but it will be obvious when you have it apart. There's probably a tool for opening bands like that that but I don't have one. I recommend you take pictures as you disassemble everything and that will help you get it all back the right way. You can replace this motor if you're reasonably handy with tools and such. I'd rate myself about average in doing that type of DIY project. One other thing to note: when you take the fan out of the ceiling, there's one screw (mine was the standard sheet metal silvery color and not black like the rest of the screws) that holds it in the main housing and the unit will drop down on you when you take it loose. Again, that will be obvious when you take it down, just be ready for it. And, turn off the power at the breaker box before working on any aspect of it. Good luck!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: i have a harbor breeze model 80200 what can i replace it with**
A: do not know, some of the sellers give that info of what is compatible, when I shopped for one online, I used the model #, amp draw& RPMs on motor,& voltage to find one compatible, also I checked compatability of the six sided mounting base on top. You have to remove old fan motor to make a comparison to picture of new one.

**Q: does this comes with manual of how to replace the old one? thanks**
A: No the motor does not come with a manual. However the change-out is very simple/intuitive. The hardest part is removing the centrifugal fan. It press fits into the shaft and is secured with a spring compression clip. First remove the clip (squeeze the two barbs together with needle nose pliers and pull it from the fan hub). The secure the motor, grasp the underside/outside of the fan on opposite sides and gently pull the fan off the motor shaft. Gently rock it back and forth while pulling - change your hand positions 90 degrees so you are not stressing the same area all the time when pulling.

**Q: Im looking for a replacement motor for Broan 361-A. Will this work?**
A: My suggestion is take out the current motor look at the amps and connector and compare.

**Q: do you stock the blower fan 99110735 and the motor rubber mounts 99100412**
A: Yes we stock both items. 99110735 $4.84, 99100412 $2.16. http://www.amazon.com/Nutone-Broan-Blower-Wheel-99110735/dp/B002NDLXLW/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A3V8AZN3GDIRPZhttp://www.amazon.com/Nutone-Mounting-Rubber-Ventilator-99100412/dp/B001DPRAEU/ref=sr_1_1?m=A3V8AZN3GDIRPZ&s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1396956320&sr=1-1&keywords=99100412Call us @ 1-810-744-1240. Perfect replacement motor for my old Broan S120L-A bathroom exhaust fan

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as intended!
*by M***R on August 3, 2025*

Hopefully will continue to work. Mid-west humidity is brutal... a bathrm fan is a must to prevent mildew on walls. We run ours w. every shower. Motor arrived quickly (Thank You!) and well pkged. Hubby installed the fan w/o any issues. Somewhat louder than our previous bthrm. fan... but not so much that it's annoying. Good purchase.
