This midi dress is very comfortable. I am 5’5 and the length is mid calf. Most of the cute dresses on Amazon are above the knee length so it was wonderful to find a dress below the knees. The eggplant purple color is a lovely shade. The side pockets could be better. I sewed the seam an extra inch so that the pockets would be deeper therefore it would prevent items from falling out of the current shallow pockets…plan to order more same style dresses in different colors😊

I ordered a couple different bands of this style of dress offered on amazon and this particular one is the best. It is very flattering in its design and the fabric is slightly better quality than from other manufacturers—it has a nice weight and hand. I also ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JHI5VRC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 at the same time but feel that it is not quite as flattering as the 12 Ami dress. The fabric does feel as weighty nor does it have quite as nice a line. Truth be told, they are both quite nice but the 12 Ami is slightly nicer. I also prefer the fit, but this is somewht subjective. I am 4’11, and i ordered a size small in each. The 12 Ami was especially flattering through the torso and bustline. Will purchase this in another color! It is fun, very comfortable and can be dressed up or down. (update: sadly out of the Small size, I ordered the Medium in Cream. It is big but I have washed it in warm to hot water twice and it did shrink just a tad. It washes wonderfully, btw…but would suggest normally following the directions). This will have to do till the stalls are back in stock. Best dress on Amazon!
