Its primary function is to give the clearance need for truck bed cover like my leather trifold. The roll bar model is what will determine what truck models are compatable. Now if your bed cover is different from the 1" high trifold or hangs over the sides of the trunk, this will not work for you. And if you do have the trifold style you are only able to open the first two folds due to the roll bar brackets locking in the last fold. **Q: Will it fit a 2001 F-150?** A: I think fit any truck with tonneau cover **Q: Will this work with the retrax retractable tonneau cover on a 2006 f150?** A: They send me the roll bar dead is fit for F150 not for tundra so I'm going to have to make some modifications or something on my own which is not the product that I requested **Q: Will this work on a 2014 f150 ?** A: I don't know I own 2018 tundra ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars NEED RIGHT PART AND BOLTS OR SOME KIND OF EXPLANATION ON HOW TO MAKE HUGE BOLTS SMALLER *by B***4 on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2023* I bought what was suppose to be an adapter that would work on my 2022 ford f-150 so I could put my tonneau cover on but the bolts that came with it were too long and the heads on the bolts are way to thick and when trying to put the railing on for the cover it will not even come close to fitting as thick as the bracket base is why not sending flat head bolts with allen heads like what is used to put the black horse classic roll bar on with. It was over a month after I received it for fair enough weather to come along to even get the chance to try to get it put on just to run into these problems oh and by the way it says it fits 2015 through 2019 ford f-150 WOW so to put it very nicely I am really DISAPPOINTED.The reason i'm giving it 1 star is that it did at least come in the mail thanks to Amazons free shipping.
