Review: IT WORKS!! - Let me tell you one thing about this product—IT WORKS!!!! After trying literally everything under the sun from deodorants to so-called “clinical strength” anti-perspirants I literally could not find a single one that actually STOPS the sweating. With summer approaching I was desperate to find something to keep my embarrassing pit stains at bay. I literally would buy clothes based on whether or not they were loose enough on my arm pits to allow for enough ventilation to help avoid the sweat stains. I would keep my deodorant in my purse so I could duck off into the bathroom, wipe my armpits and reapply while I was away from home. It was a constant worry and source of stress and embarrassment for me. But since finding Certain Dri, All of that is a thing of the past!! I wear whatever I want now without any regard to how tight it is under my arms. I have had literally zero pit stains since using this product and it works the next day. I think I sweat more than the average person so if it works for me, you can trust it will work for you. A few caveats… Yes, it does itch. All the reviews on here that mention skin irritation—100% true. This is probably not for people with sensitive skin. My skin is not super sensitive and the itching is pretty noticeable. I cannot imagine how it is for people with sensitive skin. But for me and perhaps some of them, the effectiveness of this product is more than worth it to deal with the skin irritation. ALSO, yes, you do need to use it exactly as the directions say. Unfortunately if you forget to apply it, it’s not like a regular antiperspirant where you can just slap it on right before you leave the house. Too late. Apply it at night before bed. Do NOT apply it right after showering, shaving or anything like that. Use common sense. Anything pore-opening or skin irritating I would not recommend applying right after that. I wax my underarms. I don’t even apply it on the same day as that. So it is a bit annoying in the sense that you do need to kind of think about when to apply or reapply it. Especially with me being a night time showerer I have to make sure I shower early enough on days where I need to reapply so I can wait at least an hour after my shower before applying. That being said, you don’t need to apply it every night. I apply every 2-3 days. And you don’t need to put a lot. I do gentle dabs of the roller to apply as little as possible to fully coat the underarm area and that’s it. And even with that I get some itching the next day and sometimes on the following days. But for me it’s far worth it to finally not have to worry about my underarm sweat. In summary—this product really works it has done absolute wonders for me and my confidence and wardrobe choices. But yes, it does take a little thought and scheduling to use it and it does cause skin irritation. But if it’s worth it to you, I would highly recommend trying it. Review: Absolutely fantastic product, really helped me - This product was a lifesaver. Like many others, I had a problem with sweating solely under my arms. I'm 19 years old, and have had this problem since I was about 15. Even when it was 30 degrees outside and all I had on was a windbreaker jacket (and I would be freezing on my walk to class), I would still have sweat stains after just 30 minutes after my shower when I took off my jacket. They weren't huge sweat stains, but they were definitely noticeable and extremely uncomfortable. I found myself going to the bathroom several times throughout the day and putting my shirt under the hand-dryer in order to dry the sweat stains. This happened no matter what. I even started wearing dry-fit athletic shirts in order to have the sweat dry faster when I didn't have access to a hand-dryer. This was just an uncomfortable when I sweat, if not more. I also applied deodorant several times a day because I was worried I would smell. The issue with my sweating was that when it got through my shirt, because my shirt didn't have deodorant on it, my underarms themselves didn't smell, but my shirt did. This was when I started putting deodorant on my shirt and sometimes staining it, so it was a vicious cycle. AND THEN I FOUND THIS PRODUCT, which saved my life. I can't tell you how happy this product has made me. I don't sweat at ALL anymore (unless of course I workout, which makes complete sense). **Q: Can you apply a good smelling deodorant over this product if you wanted a good smell over this antiperspirant?**
A: Yes! I just want to make sure you do know that this deodorant is for night time use. Put it on at night, before you go to bed & preferably (not necessary) after you have showered or bathed at night time. That way, you are clean when you apply it. They do have a daytime version, but the daytime version is really just as a refresher & does not accomplish anything with regards to helping you to stop perspiring. If you apply this at night time, then you can apply whatever you want in the morning. I use my regular girly smelling deo in the morning. They work great together.

**Q: does it work for sweaty hands?**
A: One person mentioned Drysol being effective for sweaty palms. For reference, Drysol contains 20% of aluminum chloride (and is only available by prescription in the US), while Certain Dri contains 12%. The maximum allowable strength of aluminum chloride in an antiperspirant in the US is 15%; anything above requires prescription.

**Q: I take showers in the morning, so would I apply this at night still? And its completely fine to scrub my armpits in the shower?**
A: I shower in the morning and apply both roll on certain dry and after letting it dry use a fragrance of dry spray like dove. I also use at night. (Only on a clean pit) I have a severe perspiration problem and this is the only deodorant that works for me.

**Q: Does this stain clothing?**
A: It doesn't stain my clothing.  I apply at night as directed, and then I take a shower in the morning, which would wash off any residue from the product, so clothes don't get stained.  However, it worked its magic at night, so I don't sweat or have body odor issues after the shower.  I use this about every other day, and I don't use any other product to control sweat or odor.

I started having excessive armpit sweat when I was in 7th grade (I’m in college now). It was such a hassle for me, because I never got to wear blouses and cute shirts without it having to black or a certain material that won’t show the sweat stains. I was really insecure for years and have been limited to what I wear. I tried different deodorants but I kid y’all not, this deodorant changed my life. First time I tried it, I applied it at night and slept. I didn’t expect much because of how many deodorants failed me already lol. The next day, I went to work and I was shocked. It was during winter, and I would usually sweat crazy already in the morning at work. But that morning after I put on certain dri, I didn’t feel that very uncomfortable sweat literally dripping down from my armpit. I didn’t sweat until night time. I figured that I should apply it every night, so I did The effect gradually lasted longer, so I applied every 2 nights. Eventually, 3 nights. Been using it for 5 months now, and I can go on literally 6 days without applying it and I wouldn’t sweat NOR smell. Today’s Wednesday, and the last time I applied it was last week Thursday. I haven’t sweat even just a bit, not even after I went golfing with my friends and go karting for the whole day under the sun and it was really hot too. NO SWEAT. This product literally saved me from misery. I also don’t really smell, my only problem was the sweating. But a normal deodorant can also be applied after certain dri to remove body. Just make sure it’s already fully dry :)) I always apply it at night! Never in the morning. It used to be itchy, like I would itch a lot the day after using it, but I got used to it and since I can go for days without using it, it doesn’t really bother me because if it itches, it only does for the first day.
