I have used on many different projects but mainly use it for soldering connectors to wire that will be outdoors and I want a good connection. I use with a small butane torch and once the item is heated up the solder seems to flow and soak in very well. Review: Not all solder is created equal. - This solder is lead free. It means cleanly and goes on really well. I had some cheap solder from the soldering iron kits and that stuff just wasn’t good. It did melt easily, but it didn’t stick to the board that great, and if you needed to reheat it to desolder, you had to add flux and increase the heat on the iron. It was such a pain to fix my errors. With this, I put it on, I mess up, I go back in and its super easy to remelt and fix. It has plenty of flux already, so I haven’t had the need to use any extra flux at all. Not during soldering or desoldering.
