I was introduced to these pens 25 years ago at a job that required writing in a field notebook, and we were required to use water-fast/solvent-fast pens that do not absorb water or other solvents. So everyone at work used these. They write beautifully. I think they only have one tip size - but Uniball does make some other pens that aren't water-fast that have bigger tips (not as easy to write with those though.) Uniball has always been a very high quality producer of pens and I recommend them highly. You might have to figure out which one/ones suit you the best depending on what you're using them for and they are expensive usually so you have to try to get them on sale. But despite the cost, they're well worth it, especially if a workplace is paying for them!
