I wish I'd just bought this one first. It's stable, good looking, and unobtrusive. I have a bamboo plant on it in a solid ceramic pot and the bamboo is growing taller and heavier by the day. It's just shy of 3 lbs. The shelf does bow a tiny bit when I place the plant on it, but not enough to be of any concern. 2 mm maybe? I'd be shocked if it didn't. Anyway, I've had this shelf up for months and have had zero issues with it. The squares show no signs of releasing themselves from the window on their own. Easier than it sounds and it really does works well.. I bought the 2 in a package deal and I think I'm going to use the other in the guest bath doing a decorative something. So I didn't hesitate to get my razor blade and start peeling off the hardware from my window. DANG, those things were stuck!! I was afraid my window might break trying to pry it off. I think he shelf looks nice and not "cheap," it's easy to install and very sturdy, and I'm so happy the company included double the installation hardware.
