I also like the srew-in rubber tip option. The disadvantage is fixed length (hence, four start rating), so you need to get it right. I think many people get too long of poles. I am 5" 8" and I use the 110 cm length; my wife is 5' 4" and uses the 100 cm length. I both cases, this is 10 cm shorter than length charts suggest, but I know a few super hikers who also go to the short side. For around home, I use carbon fiber adjustable poles, and do have them a few centimeters longer (about 115 cm for me; 105 cm for my wife). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super light and sturdy *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 6, 2014* Used for 2 backpack trips now with about 40lb pack. Definitely notice a relief on my legs and back when I use them. I'm not convinced that I'm faster with them but the added stability comes in handy. The light weight is incredible. They almost feel weightless. I've only used the rubber tips so far. The poles have a definite sound they make as you plant them but you get used to it. I think they perform really well when compared to other poles, they are very light and sturdy. Unfortunately, the 100 cm (39 in.) usable length was a little too short for me so I had to return them.
