As of 12/5/2016, there isn't a 'with cloth' option. **Q: Does the finished seal need to be coated to provide uv protection and extend the life? if so, what coatings are acceptable?** A: No, not to my knowledge. My metal flashing rusted out and I had a temporary patch with some other product (applied like caulking), but that failed in a year. Then I tried this product because I knew it was going to be temporary also because my roof was going to be replaced eventually. So, the reinforcement fabric is a must and follow the directions carefully. It held for 4 years until I eventually replaced my roof. I did not apply any sealant or UV protection product over it. **Q: Has anyone used this around the flashing of a skylight?** A: No, but if you use the correct detail around the skylight curb, I do not see why it would not work. **Q: Where can I get a copy of the Material Safety Data Sheet on Flash Seal?** A: http://chimneysaver.com/product-datasheets/https://saversystems.s3.amazonaws.com/product-data/chimneysaver-flash-seal-sds.pdf ## Frequently Bought Together - ChimneySaver FlashSeal Elastomeric Flashing Sealant, 1 Gallon (White) - FlashSeal Reinforcement Fabric, 1 roll 6" x 150 ft - ChimneyRx 300119 Masonry Chimney Water Repellent - Siloxane Based, Non-Film-Forming, Breathable, and Transparent Waterproof Coating for Brick Chimneys & Other Vertical Surfaces - 1 Gallon --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/12887514-chimneysaver-flashseal-elastomeric-roof-chimney-flashing-sealant-waterproof-flexible-seal](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/12887514-chimneysaver-flashseal-elastomeric-roof-chimney-flashing-sealant-waterproof-flexible-seal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
