I can now relax and not worry about bugs getting in and not feel the constant draft coming in, especially when the heat is off. If you live in a rental and are limited by what you can change in the apartment, or don't feel like asking the landlord to fix it and dedicate an entire day to that, then this is the perfect solution for minor repairs around your house. I didn't notice any sticky residue on the surface when removing the tape and it can be re-positioned. My only tip is to be careful when handling cutting it as it might slightly cut your skin if not careful. Bonds very tightly to surfaces and to itself; the roll has a layer of non-stick paper to make it easy to peel the tape off (it would probably be impossible otherwise, as even incidental contact with other foil tape was very hard to undo - but that's a good sign of how long this tape's bond will last). NOTE: Foil tape has a very different application from most other types of tape. It is not intended for binding things together (shear force will rip the tape).
