It really is pretty comfortable.Now for the rest: The Velcro fastening is weak and doesn't stay hooked overnight. The thumb holes are made for someone with small thumbs, and are very painful otherwise. I had to use scissors to make them larger. The sewn-in metal brace is too short. It allows for a lot of movement, meaning a lot of pain if trying to sleep with this on. I ended up using those scissors again to remove the brace and replace it with one from an old brace that I had worn out from long usage.I'm cheap, :-), so I'll use this until it wears out. I'll never buy another one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Padding reallllllly helps *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2020* I have a chronic carpel tunnel situation going.... I sleep in a brace and use whenever I am doing things that get my wrist flared up - like vacuuming. I had the old style without the padding... but found that the palm of my hand frequently painful due to the metal support in the brace. With the padding in this one, I have no issues with palm pain... the support remains the same... makes it much more of a choice than a pain to use!! ### ⭐ Created new pain *by T***K on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2019* My doctor told me to sleep with these for a medical issue, and the first night, I woke up with severe pain on my thumb. There was no problem with my thumb before this. Now, my thumb has been extremely sore and unusable for a month since that one use.
