It looks that way in picture. I prefer matte look.** A: I've had some of their lipsticks that are more on the iridescent side but this one is not. I prefer the matte look too and this is my everyday every occasion staple because of it. Anyway, I’ve been buying this color (190 Indulgent) since 2001 and SO glad it’s still being made (Although much harder to get since it’s not sold in the USA anymore for last 10 years). It lasts through absolutely everything, but comes off easily just a little bit of oily make up remover on the lips. I’m one of those people that use up the lipstick well before I ever use up the gloss (In fact I always have extra gloss tubes) One package of this, wearing this color probably three times a week, lasts me about seven months. Yes, 190 Is a relatively dark color, and I’m a fair, warm light skinned person, But the beauty of this is that it’s SOO neutral undertone, I wear it with beige, olive green, teal, burgundy and black clothing. There were tons of Max factor swatch and review videos on social media to check out first if you’re unsure of what shade is best.
