I have cut bags length wise and them make a new side seam. **Q: would this work on a roller shade made of PVC ?** A: sorry it would not. **Q: Would this work on construction plastic** A: I'm not sure what you mean by construction plastic. If you are talking about Tyvek or thick drop cloths it should have no problem at all with it. **Q: Will this seal 2 – 6 mil polyethylene?** A: At the right temperature and time definitely.
