I recommend NOT using this for protein drinks, smoothies, or anything else you could use a straw for unless you plan on cleaning the straw out right away.This is a flexible material, just as it’s stated on the description. It will not break through ice and you cannot use it to stir.If you put ice in your water bottles, put the straw in first before putting in the ice so your straw doesn’t get stuck on top of the ice.All together I love these, they’re easy to clean and very convenient!
