I did run a candle along them a few times for extra waterproofing and longevity and I was pleased to see none of the colour came off. I think they look nifty in my purple suede shoes. Measure the length of any laced you're replacing to give you a guide for what length to order or do a dry run with a bit of string so you get it right first time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So good I bought them again *by L***D on 15 May 2019* I bought these nearly two years ago. A bit difficult to say much about shoelaces ( fit?! ), but they were the colour pictured and revived a favourite pair of shoes.
