When the humidity is nearly 100% the extra cooling makes it possible to work outside. Since the packs freeze at around 55F it's not all like wearing water ice packs strapped to you, these are actually very comfortable. The vest makes it possible to work for about 2 hours as they claim without getting dizzy or sweating so bad my eyes sting. I'd give it a 5 star if not for the relatively high price of the packs.I bought a second vest for my helper and tried the sports vest. As it turns out he has a larger chest and fits the original vest better, I prefer the velcro straps and lighter weight of the sports vest. The original vest uses snap in buckles and take a bit longer to adjust.
