Review: Easy way to clean up a house! - This is a great product! It's so simple to use, cap and put in a drawer, and pull out when needed to fill a scratch or small hole. It's about the same consistency as a container of putty, maybe a bit thicker, but in a much more convenient smaller package. It's easy enough to dab, or smoosh into a nail hole, and then grab a bit more on a finger and attempt to match wall texture (I have knock down so a bit of a plop on top and a quick smooth pretty much matches. I've filled at least a dozen small nail holes and scratches and dings from furniture. So far so good. I'll come back and dock points if the texture flakes off or doesn't hold cover paint.

**Q: Is this just cosmetic, or could I nail into the same spot for a tighter fit? Thanks.**
A: I have used this product to fill cracks and holes in sheetrock.  It dries very hard.  I have not driven any nails into a repaired spot.  It is a very good product.  On my second order of this product from Amazon.  It is now amongst other items I rely on for paint prep.

**Q: Is this being sent from China or overseas?**
A: No, this product is made in USA! 100 percent made in USA.

**Q: How do you successfully paint over this? Even after painting, It seems to still leave spots where applied**
A: You need to paint the repair with primer first if it's bigger than 1/2" wide to ensure you don't see a flat (vs satin, etc) spot afterwards.

**Q: Will this work on plaster that had chipped off wall?**
A: It absolutely works on plaster! If the wall has more of a shallow chip then you may need to use a flat edge to create that surface. You can use the cap edge or you can get a drywall knife to set it on the wall. I have plaster in my home and this is the best repair compound I have found to repair holes bc it’s heavy weight.

This stuff worked great. I was able to putty a few holes and sand them down to perfection. It's a bit messy and I had to apply it a few times and wait for the product to dry, which took a few hours. After 3 applications, you can barely tell there was ever a hole. I do have cats that scratch up the window sills, I wish they had a larger option for bigger jobs.
