Both of these had major drawbacks. The foam ones often only lasted a few days before the foam started to break down, often separating from the outer layer, which sometimes came off and got stuck to my face, causing some embarrassment! The silicon ones lasted longer, usually for several weeks, but when they started to break down, what a mess! They would leave a very sticky cellophane-like layer stuck to my glasses, which I would then have to peel off, leaving a sticky substance which would get on the lenses. (I discovered that rubbing alcohol would get this off, but it was a pain in the neck.)These nose pads last a long time, and I've only had to replace them because eventually they start to smell funky! When this happens, I can just peel them off and put a new pair on after cleaning the area a bit with soap and water. ### ⭐⭐⭐ They work but they're paper thin. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2021* Paper thin, adhesive isn't amazing but they do the job. Best on styles with built in nose pad rather than the small bubble nose pads attached with a small metal clasp that you see on most wire frame glasses. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very comfortable *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2020* I hate glasses with the moving nose pads but the glasses with the molded nose pieces tend to sit too low and close to my eyes. Since I have black frames I got these to raise the glasses which works great! I stack two on each side and it fits wonderfully and is very comfortable. No more eyelashes hitting the glass or oily skin smudges at the bottom of the lenses.
