**Q: Are there any instructional videos on how to adjust these to a smaller height?**
A: This short video from youtube demonstrates it well. It shows it adjusting from the bottom, but I usually do from the top.

**Q: Would these work as a protection cover for new paperback spiral-bound hymnals for a senior living community?**
A: No this would not work for spiral bound books.  It is a very thin plastic cover and I feel that it will just tear when put over the spirals. these covers are the same as you see on library books.  In order to protect the covers of spiral books you might have to go with an envelope short of covering for each the back and the front separately.  You might try asking as used book store.

**Q: are these height adjustable?**
A: These are adjustable for books smaller than 10 inches. Ideally it fits dust jackets 9-10 inches in height.

**Q: Hi, if the dust jacket is extremely fragile, do you tips how to handle during this process?**
A: The dust jackets aren't fragile.  I did end up using a bone knife on them, but the first two I applied were not perfect and I adjusted them and had no problems.  I've used three different brands now (one was a crummy, free, heavier plastic) but I wouldn't advise going cheap with dust jackets.  If your books are an investment, these ones will do well.  I would double-check the dimensions of the books though.

Stop the internet. I just found the perfect thing. You ever find a thing and then wonder how it's been this long without you having it in your life? This is that thing. You ever come across a product that does one thing, and does that one thing perfectly? This is that thing. Easy to use. Just lay it on a table and put the dust jacket inside it, then put it around your book, just like the instructions say. Looks like it will be very durable. I have a bunch of out-of-print books and I wanted to keep the dust jackets from getting torn up and having a lot of shelf wear. This is perfect for that application. Just like the ones your library has on their books. Thickness is perfect. They are precut to standard size.
