Review: Raptor spray cans - Yeah I use this a lot on my Landrover . I find it’s now better without the activator that you had to shove in the bottom. I would say that read the instructions carefully as regards the health and safety and what masks to wear broadly speaking I always wear a proper mask and spray outside . It’s does what it saids on the tin but it won’t stop the bloody reflections of a landrover bonnet or wings as I thought it would ! It’s a great product for its application

**Q: Is it a matt finish?**
A: No its a kind of silk finish it looks good but not flat mat

**Q: Can this be used on aluminium sump pan and will it need primer first? engine casing**
A: Make sure it is completely degreased from any oil or contaminants.
Abrade surface with P80-P180 (P180 for aluminium) grit sandpaper then, then apply with an etch or epoxy primer before apply the Raptor.

**Q: Would this work on chrome?**
A: I sprayed my chromed front grill after I rubbed it down to give it a good key, worked perfectly no problems a year on.

**Q: What kind of coverage will the 2x 400ml cans give?**
A: Theoretical Coverage approx 1.3m2 depending on texture. Build / microns 200μ depending on texture for 2-coats

Yeah I use this a lot on my Landrover . I find it’s now better without the activator that you had to shove in the bottom. I would say that read the instructions carefully as regards the health and safety and what masks to wear broadly speaking I always wear a proper mask and spray outside . It’s does what it saids on the tin but it won’t stop the bloody reflections of a landrover bonnet or wings as I thought it would ! It’s a great product for its application
