Review: It works within weeks - I have used this on my 8 week old son after he had developed an umbilical hernia, doctors said it could take over a year for it to possibly go away itself but after using this constantly apart from bath time after 3 weeks have noticed it seems to have healed up now just keeping on for a couple more weeks to make sure. Well worth the money and why not treat this problem within a couple of months instead of waiting a year, I cant understand why doctors aren't encouraging products like this as they really do work. I made sure to check it was fit correctly every nappy change to make sure it had not got too tight or loose or moved from the correct position. Simple to use and machine washable.

In my opinion, this product isn't effective or designed well for the purpose. The circle to push in the hernia is gel, and whilst it might be comfortable, it doesn't hold the hernia in place, it's too soft. And having the velcro at the back is a nightmare to get it secure from the front and not practical to try and turn baby over to secure it. I found another one on amazon much better and actually holds the hernia in place well. I wouldn't recommend this product. Disappointing as it looks the most comfortable to wear.
