    Good But Bouncy

These mats are tremendously sturdy.  My intended use for them was to drop weights on them and protect my floor.  Unfortunately, the mats have incredible rebound and any weights dropped on them are launched across the room.  Upon their very first use, a 65lb dumbbell dropped on the mat was launched into the wall, creating a hole in the sheetrock.  These are strong, heavy mats but be aware of their limitations

this is made of solid material and is thick and heavy.  i use it for deadlifting in my yard and it protects my plates well.  i can deadlift 275 lbs for reps and it would still protect my plates from the concrete.  i'm sure it will hold up for heavier weights.  very happy with this purchase.
