Would not recommend for material other than light weight cotton. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Buy with confidence *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 2, 2015* I bought this hoop at a sewing event and have never regretted making this investment. I felt compelled to write this review since the only other reviewer to date gave it one star. This hoop has a VERY strong magnet that holds your stabilized fabric in place just fine. In fact, if you are not careful to use the included separator insert when storing it, you'll have a heck of a time trying to pry the top and bottom of the frame apart... Don't ask me how I know. The other reviewer suggested that it only works well with lightweight fabrics. That has not been my experience. I have even used it with canvas and toweling. For heavier or thicker loft fabrics, instead of trying to hoop the fabrics under the frame, I have hooped adhesive stabilizer then stuck the fabric to the stabilizer. It works like a charm. This frame makes hooping a snap... Literally. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars This is very good product, does exactly what it's supposed to do *by J***I on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 29, 2016* This is very good product, does exactly what it's supposed to do. I used mine for towels, quilts, etc. never a problem. I've had it at least 3 years and have used it more times than I can count. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/12953907-7x12-snap-hoop-5-for-babylock-ellisomo-gold-ellegante-embroidery](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/12953907-7x12-snap-hoop-5-for-babylock-ellisomo-gold-ellegante-embroidery) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
