The material is a bit thin, if you're self conscious about chest hair or something like that, but it breathes great, and in Neon Yellow, it's sure to help you avoid getting run over on the road. The only thing I'd change: Make the pockets narrower. On me, even though the fit is about right, things in the left and right pockets are sometimes sliding around my sides when I'm leaned over, and the pockets are also too wide to hold a water bottle upright; it just falls over and sits horizontal in the pocket, leaking water down the small of my back and right into my... well, you get the idea. When laid flat, this jersey measures 20" across the shoulders (measured seam to seam), 23" across the chest (measured 1" below the armpit), 20" across the waist and bottom opening, and 31" long in the back.Although the jersey appears to be well put together (stitching is straight and even, no loose/stray threads), unfortunately, it is constructed of low-end materials, including a generic front zipper and a 100% polyester fabric that is downright abrasive. This thing feels just like the uniforms I wore in Little League back in the 1970s. In this day and age, there is simply no excuse for using a fabric this scratchy and unpleasant, even in a budget garment. In comparison, a 100% polyester Dri-Star T-shirt (made by Starter, available at Wal-Mart for $8) blows this jersey out of the water in terms of softness.BDI's use of cheapo fabric and zippers suggests that the thread holding this jersey together is also bottom shelf material.
