About 1/4 to 1/3 of the book is more focused on her journey up to this point and general art advice that she's learned over the years. I thought it was all well done and very fascinating. With art tutorials so accessible online these days, I enjoyed the break from purely instructional, and a chance to get to know her a little more. 10/10 Would definitely recommend! I love this book, and it's even better than I had expected. Not only does she give her (super relatable) story about how she got started and show off her works, but there are great tips that have really helped me out with my art as well.
